'The Partnership' heading

In the late 1990s, the idea of a partnership project began to gain favour, leading to the establishment of the Central Rivers Initiative at an inaugural meeting in November 1997. A partnership of local authorities, statutory agencies, voluntary organisations and others was forged, all contributing financial and staff resources to the realisation of the project.

Partnership arrangements
The Initiative now relies on the co-operation and support of 15 Associates. To formalise the partnership arrangements, a Memorandum of Agreement has been signed.

The Memorandum of Agreement

The Associates
Of the 15 Associates involved in the Initiative, 10 are party to the Agreement and 5 are supportive of the Initiative, but not party to the Agreement.

The Associates marked * are party to the Memorandum of Agreement.

The other Associates are supportive of the Initiative and its objectives, but not party to the Agreement.

If you or your organisation have ideas, however large or small, that could contribute toward achieving the Central Rivers Vision, contact Steve Potter (tel; 01785 277260) or Janet Clarke (tel: 01785 277293)
